Sharing some of the key results of the Technical Support Component from 2025

In addition to the milestones achieved by Locfund Next, our Technical Support Component has successfully managed over 70 projects across 34 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in 13 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

These projects spanned all strategic areas of the facility, each designed to strengthen the institutional framework of the sector:

🌱 ESG
🌍 Climate Action
♀️ Gender Equality
💻 Digital Transformation
📈 Capital Markets
⚠️ Risk Management

Beyond project implementation, we have prioritized knowledge dissemination and best practices through two major regional events:

📌 The third edition of the Foro Connect 2025
📌 The Artificial Intelligence Workshop (held in FinLac Forum, organized by IDB Invest), where key findings and insights were presented from our team’s latest research.

This progress is a testimony of the commitment of the MFIs and the invaluable support of our Donors, who make the transformation of this sector a reality. Thank you for trusting our mission and joining us on this journey toward positive, sustainable impact!
